A great budget tablet that performs better than what it price suggests I own both the models of Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and 8.0 in our household and the Tab A 8.0 is the one I use personally all them time mainly because of its compact size which is great for one handed use and a sharper screen . I purchased the Tab A 8.0 after deliberating considerably whether to go for the Tab A 8.0 or the newer Tab E . In the end I choose the Tab A because if felt much more premium in hands compared to the Tab E. Here’s how I feel these both the Tab A 9.7 & 8.0 tablets stack up against each other if you’re considering either of the two :

Perfect for 3 year olds and supports Kids Mode I bought 2 of these for my kids for Christmas. I installed Kids Mode on them. Went through all the settings so they could ONLY do what I wanted them to be able to do. I have never had a problem with it lagging or the kids getting to anywhere they are not supposed to. I LOVE IT! They watch You Tube Kids on a regular basis and it has never had a problem playing the videos.

Very happy with it so far Very happy with it so far. Its a good size for my needs. Love that it comes with Word and Excel already loaded. Very easy to maneuver through the apps, settings, and programs. Despite other reviews dogging the sound quality due to a single speaker, I find the sound is better than most on this tablet. Remember, it is a tablet, NOT a home theatre system. All around a well-equipped tablet that doesn’t break the bank.
