Great gimbal, but support/repair is ship to China only Overall, this is a great gimbal that weighs 170grams without the camera. It functions very well and makes for a smooth image. I’ve flown with it on my 450 frame and it performs very well despite me pushing very fast in all directions. It does have a few limits:

Feiyu-Tech Gimbals are Cheaply Made, Poorly Supported. When the Gimbal stabilizes as it’s supposed to do, it works great, assuming you aren’t in an area with extremely high wind or high G, ie a plane or rollercoaster. However, the gimbal fails to stabilize at perfect horizontal quite often and, although an improvement over the first feiyu-tech gimbal, this one’s re-calibration procedure isn’t particularly clear either. Also, due to the perfect cube shape of the camera, the gimbal often restabilizes with the camera facing upside down or backwards, requiring you to turn it off and restart the process. I wouldn’t buy another one of these cheaply made products again. All E RC on the other hand (the retailer), is excellent. Their customer service is fantastic and they did their best to help me address my issues. Would 100% recommend purchasing products from them (except feiyu-tech gimbals, because they’re terrible).

Wouldn’t keep level, sent it back for a refund. Tried this out for a few weeks mounted to my bike and couldn’t get it to level out correctly. I had to mount it upside down to get it to level but then I’d hit a bump in the road and it wouldn’t re-level completely without stopping, taking it off my bike and resetting the level every time. When it did work the video was pretty smooth from left to right but since it wouldn’t stay level it was useless to me. Also, since it’s a 2 axis gimbal it wasn’t as smooth as a 3 axis or more gimble. I contacted the china manufacturer tech support but they didn’t help me much and I don’t think they understood my needs that well due to probably I’m guessing English translation problems. I made a video explaining things and sent it to the tech support but they still didn’t have any answers that helped me. I like the size of the unit and it held the go-pro tightly so that was the good part of the unit. the documentation on the unit isn’t very detailed and their website isn’t much better. Anyway,…
