BIG DOG says:

Will not last for 3 days for 4 people. I received the package and opened it up. very nice setup, but if you read about the food consumption rate it states 3 bars per day for land use and 2 bars per day for marine. well if your on land only 2 days, probably because you move around more. the other problem is that there are 4 1 liter containers in the kit. the packaging state 1 liter per person per day, more in hot climate. well you can do the math. there is no way this will last based on the usage information on the package.

Kathleen Smith says:

Do NOT buy this kit; not adequate for 4 people for 1 day (let alone 3). Do not buy this kit – it is largely a waste of money. It’s supposed to contain “enough emergency supplies to sustain 4 people for three days, as recommended by the American Red Cross” yet only contains a total of four liters of water for the entire kit. By the instructions on their own product, folks should consume two liters per day per person. Going by those instructions, that would sustain only ONE person for two days, and this kit is supposed to accommodate four people.
